Volleyball Recap: Olympic Heights Comes Up Short

Olympic Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Forest Hill Falcons.

Olympic Heights took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 23-25, 24-26, 25-14, 16-14.

Victor Hauari paced Olympic Heights' offense, picking up 11 kills. Hauari got some help from Noah Corcia and his 18 assists. Hauari was also solid from the service line: he led the team with six aces.

Olympic Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Forest Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Coming up, Olympic Heights will face off against Seminole Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Forest Hill, they will host Palm Beach Gardens at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons are facing the Gators at the right time seeing as the Gators are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
