Mitchell waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the River Ridge Royal Knights onto the board and left with a 6-0 victory. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 games by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting River Ridge from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Thomas Lutz led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Mitchell's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-1-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 50 goals over those eight contests. As for River Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7-1 record this season.

Mitchell and River Ridge should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. Mitchell (ranked 19th) will meet Hudson (ranked 314th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Mitchell's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so River Ridge's offense will have their work cut out for them. Similarly, River Ridge will face off against Angeline Academy of Innovation at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday up 353 places (126 vs. 479).
