Basketball Recap: St. Francis Takes a Loss

St. Francis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a blow against the Messmer Bishops, falling 77-23. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bishops this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-33 on February 1st.

St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Messmer, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-9.

Looking ahead, St. Francis will venture away from home to take on University School of Milwaukee at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Messmer has already played their next match (against Kenosha Christian Life), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
