Powell and West are an even 4-4-2 against one another since September of 2019, but likely not for long. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Powell will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, West faced Bearden in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Rebels came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 5-0. West's loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Powell's victory bumped their record up to 11-3-1. As for West, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1-1 and their overall record down to 13-2-1.
