West Forsyth's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Laila Jones, who went 5-for-10 en route to 15 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. Jones is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Armani Hyde, who shot 55% from the field to rack up 14 points along with five boards and three steals.

When it comes to explaining why Forsyth Country Day lost, don't look at Gigi Lyons. Despite the final result, she posted 16 points and seven rebounds. That was a full 48.5% of the Furies' points, marking the third time in a row Lyons has earned more than a third of the team's points. Lila Kelly was another key player, putting up seven points.

The win got West Forsyth back to even at 2-2. As for Forsyth Country Day, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.
