Baseball Recap: Oswego Comes Up Short

Oswego was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 8-2 to the Jamesville-DeWitt Red Rams. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bucs of the 4-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Oswego's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Jamesville-DeWitt, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Oswego will head out on the road to face off against Fayetteville-Manlius at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Hornets have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Jamesville-DeWitt, they will host Whitesboro at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
