Soccer Recap: Hackett Catholic Prep Takes a Loss

If Hackett Catholic Prep was riding high fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Parchment on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Fighting Irish lost 3-0 to the Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants on Saturday. Hackett Catholic Prep were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Kalamazoo Central apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2017.

Hackett Catholic Prep's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Kalamazoo Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hackett Catholic Prep will host Constantine at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Hackett Catholic Prep are facing Constantine at the right time seeing as Constantine are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Kalamazoo Central, they will be playing at home against Portage Northern at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Kalamazoo Central will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: Portage Northern will have lost five straight heading into Monday's game.
