Basketball Recap: Ottawa Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Ottawa, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Sandwich Indians by a score of 48-36 on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pirates also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Ottawa pushed their record up to 16-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Sandwich, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.
