Basketball Recap: El Rancho's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Bosco Tech came into Tuesday's contest looking for another win against El Rancho, but Andrew Morones wouldn't allow it. The Dons walked away with a 53-44 win over the Tigers on Tuesday with plenty of help from Morones, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of El Rancho's points.

Another player making a difference was Adan Alvarez, who posted nine points and eight boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 75% in the last three games he's played.

The victory was the fourth in a row for El Rancho, bringing their record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points over those games. As for Bosco Tech, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Rancho and Wilson will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Bosco Tech, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Cardinals have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
