Volleyball Recap: East Rowan's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

After flying high against Southwestern Randolph on Friday, East Rowan came back down to earth. The Mustangs lost 3-0 to the East Chapel Hill Wildcats on Saturday. The loss put an end to the Mustangs' undefeated start to the season.

East Rowan was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-21, 25-10.

Alli Corl paced East Rowan's offense, picking up ten kills. Corl got some help from Jacee Eudy and her 22 assists. Corl was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, East Rowan fell to 2-1. As for East Chapel Hill, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

East Rowan has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Felton Grove on the 16th. As for East Chapel Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Southwestern Randolph on the 16th.
