Softball Recap: Ripley Comes Up Short

Ripley fell victim to West Lauderdale and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-3 on Thursday.

Ripley has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-21 record this season. As for West Lauderdale, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-12.

Ripley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Lauderdale, they will face off against Kosciusko at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
