Volleyball Recap: Harrells Christian Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Harrells Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Rocky Mount Academy Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-19, 25-9.

Riley Dixon paced Harrells Christian Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Dixon got some help from Mary Willow Rumbold and her 11 assists. Rumbold was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Harrells Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Rocky Mount Academy, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1.

Harrells Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Faith Christian on the 23rd. As for Rocky Mount Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Arendell Parrott Academy on the 22nd.
