Preview: Rose Hill vs. Mulvane
If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Mulvane. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Rose Hill at 7:00 PM. If the game is anything like the 38-42 finish from the last time they met, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.
Mulvane were able to grind out a solid win over Field Kindley last Friday, winning 28-20. The success made it back-to-back wins for Mulvane.
Meanwhile, we expected Rose Hill to have trouble with the significantly higher ranked Wellington, and they did. Rose Hill have to be aching after a bruising 7-38 defeat to Wellington. Rose Hill were down by 0-28 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Mulvane's victory lifted them to 3-2 while Rose Hill's loss dropped them down to 0-5. We'll see if Mulvane's success rolls on or if Rose Hill are able to steal their positive momentum.
