Softball Recap: Paul Cuffee Comes Up Short

Paul Cuffee came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Classical Purple, falling 25-6. The loss continues a trend for Paul Cuffee in their meetings with Classical: they've now lost three in a row.

Paul Cuffee's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Classical, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Paul Cuffee is set to square off against their familiar foe Rogers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Classical will challenge rival Central Falls at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
