Basketball Recap: Sandoval Extends Road Winning Streak to Six

Sandoval had won five straight road games and Amiya Ray did her part to make it six on Monday. The Sandoval Blackhawks came out on top against the Webber Trojans by a score of 28-20 thanks in part to Ray, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last six games she's played.

Despite the defeat, Webber had strong showings from Edyn Knight, who posted six points along with nine boards and five steals, and Chloe King, who put up six points in addition to ten rebounds and seven steals.

Sandoval has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Webber, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

Sandoval didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-33 loss against Woodlawn on the 15th. Webber has also already played their next game, a 48-38 win against Red Hill on the 15th.
