Volleyball Game Preview: Westerville South Wildcats vs. Hilliard Bradley Jaguars

The Westerville South Wildcats will square off against the Hilliard Bradley Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

On Wednesday, Westerville South had just enough and edged out Licking Heights 3-2.

Westerville South was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 23-25, 18-25, 26-24, 15-7.

Meanwhile, Hilliard Bradley sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Big Walnut on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jaguars.

Westerville South better focus on containing Noah Santone and Luke Schroeder as the pair were huge in Hilliard Bradley's win. Santone had 21 assists and one block, while Schroeder had ten digs. Santone is crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 13 every time he's taken the court this season.

Hilliard Bradley's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Westerville South, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-9.
