Volleyball Game Preview: Buckingham Knights vs. Lunenburg Central Chargers

The Buckingham Knights will challenge the Lunenburg Central Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Buckingham comes in on four and Lunenburg Central on three.

Buckingham proved they can win big two weeks ago (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Randolph-Henry, sneaking past 3-2.

Buckingham was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 24-26, 18-25, 25-23, 15-6.

Meanwhile, Lunenburg Central got the win against Southampton on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.

Lunenburg Central walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 25-19, 25-19.

Buckingham's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Lunenburg Central, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

Buckingham was able to grind out a solid victory over Lunenburg Central in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Chargers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
