Football Game Preview: Edgewood-Colesburg vs. Clayton-Ridge

After two weeks on the road, Clayton-Ridge is heading back home. On Friday they will take on Edgewood-Colesburg at 7:00 PM. The teams both are strolling into their game after big wins in their previous games.

After constant struggles on the road, Clayton-Ridge have finally found some success away from home. They steamrollered Lisbon 41-6. Clayton-Ridge were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Meanwhile, Edgewood-Colesburg put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They made easy work of MFL MarMac and carried off a 40-6 victory. The win was familiar territory for Edgewood-Colesburg, who now have seven in a row.

Their wins bumped Edgewood-Colesburg to 7-1 and Clayton-Ridge to 3-5. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
