Baseball Recap: Westview Warriors vs. Fairfield Falcons        
        
		
            
 Westview put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season  on Tuesday. They blew past the Fairfield Falcons 13-3. Westview's win was all the more impressive since Fairfield was averaging only 3.58 runs allowed on the season.
  Max Engle made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 12 batters over  six innings while giving up  three earned runs off only  two  hits. Engle has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Engle was also solid in the batter's box,  going 3-for-3 with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Braden Kauffman was  incredible,  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances with a  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI.  Mason Wire was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
 On Fairfield's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Owen Garrison, who  went 1-for-2 with two  RBI.
 Westview pushed their record up to 15-9 with that  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. As for Fairfield, their defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 17-7.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westview will  take on Eastside at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Eastside's pitching crew has only allowed three  runs per game  this season, so Westview's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Fairfield, they will head out on the road to  square off against  West Noble at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
