Soccer Recap: Moscow Takes a Loss

Moscow managed to keep up with Coeur d'Alene until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bears lost 4-0 to the Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Moscow of the 5-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Moscow's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Coeur d'Alene, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Moscow will challenge Post Falls at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Moscow will be up against Post Falls' rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.17 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Coeur d'Alene, they are taking a road trip to face off against Lake City at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
