Basketball Recap: Downsville Comes Up Short

Downsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss. They took a blow against the Castor Tigers, falling 63-17. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-19 last Saturday.

Downsville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-27. As for Castor, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-13 record this season.

Downsville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 37-17 loss against Beekman Charter on the 11th. As for Castor, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 57-45 defeat against Simsboro on the 11th.
