Softball Recap: Petaluma Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Petaluma fell victim to Casa Grande and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gauchos. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Trojans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Petaluma's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5. As for Casa Grande, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Petaluma will take on rival Sonoma Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Casa Grande is set to square off against their familiar foe Justin-Siena at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
