Softball Recap: Escambia County Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Escambia County's offense. They came up short against the W.S. Neal Eagles on Monday, falling 17-0. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost seven in a row.

Escambia County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for W.S. Neal, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-17.

Escambia County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for W.S. Neal, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-4 victory against Jackson on the 4th.
