Miyamura is 0-10 against Gallup since May of 2021 but things could change on Saturday. The Patriots will venture away from home to square off against the Bengals at 1:00 p.m. Miyamura is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.

Things were looking good for Miyamura after they put the first run on the board on Thursday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kirtland Central.

Miyamura saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Celeste Cano, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. NATALIE VALENCIANO was another, going 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gallup). They blew past Bloomfield 28-12 on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bengals needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Gallup's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.8 runs over those games. As for Miyamura, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.

Miyamura might still be hurting after the 12-1 defeat they got from Gallup in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Patriots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
