Basketball Game Preview: Potter's House Christian Pumas vs. Muskegon Catholic Central Crusaders

The Potter's House Christian Pumas will venture away from home to challenge the Muskegon Catholic Central Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Potter's House Christian came up short against Lee and fell 62-52. The Pumas have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Potter's House Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Cecil Davis went 5 for 11 on his way to 12 points. Davis is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Nathaniel Kuipers was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Meanwhile, Muskegon Catholic Central lost 67-44 to Hart on Friday.

Potter's House Christian's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-7. As for Muskegon Catholic Central, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Potter's House Christian couldn't quite finish off Muskegon Catholic Central in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 and fell 56-54. Can Potter's House Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
