Harrells Christian Academy extended their winning streak to ten on Saturday, bumping them up to 10-1. They enjoyed a cozy 73-54 victory over the R.J. Reynolds Demons. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Crusaders' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Demons are ranked 333rd).

Harrells Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Amir Moore, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 14 rebounds. The game was Moore's third in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Dashaun McKoy, who shot 53% from the field on his way to 20 points in addition to seven boards and five assists.

Harrells Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in February.

As for R.J. Reynolds, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. The contest marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

R.J. Reynolds' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chase James, who posted ten points. Malachi Pitts also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

Looking ahead, Harrells Christian Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Kid Stars Rising Christian Learning Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for R.J. Reynolds, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on North Forsyth at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Demons will be up against the Vikings' rather soft defense (which has allowed 66.2 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
