Volleyball Recap: Chequamegon Screaming Eagles vs. Three Lakes Bluejays
Chequamegon lost against Three Lakes back in September of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Screaming Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bluejays.
The final score came out to 25-18, 25-14.
Sydney Rybak paced Chequamegon's offense, picking up four kills. Rybak got some help from Jalen Brunell and her seven assists. Gretchen Eder controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Chequamegon's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Three Lakes, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Chequamegon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran/Providence Academy on the 26th. As for Three Lakes, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Thorp on Saturday.
