Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Omaha North). Everything went their way against the Westview Wolverines on Saturday as they made off with a 5-2 victory. Even though Omaha North got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( JuanPablo Gomez was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Omaha North hit Westview with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jarit Maganda (2), Jose Henriquez, Angel Garcia, and Youssouf Abdou.

Omaha North's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Westview, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Omaha North wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Millard West on the 28th. As for Westview, they will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Bellevue East at 12:00 p.m. Westview will be up against Bellevue East's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.53 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
