Basketball Recap: Niobrara County Gets the Win

Niobrara County had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 54-44 win over the Little Snake River Rattlers on Saturday.

Despite the defeat, Little Snake River saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tymber Cozzens dropped a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cozzens has scored all season. Marcos Marquez was another key player, putting up seven points and five boards.

Niobrara County's victory bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Little Snake River, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Niobrara County nor Little Snake River have any future games scheduled.
