Baseball Recap: Priceville Takes a Loss

Priceville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Madison Academy Mustangs, falling 16-0. The shutout was out of character for the Bulldogs seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

Priceville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colman Gann, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Gann snagged this season.

Priceville's defeat dropped their record down to 11-19. As for Madison Academy, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-5.

Coming up, Priceville will take on James Clemens at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Madison Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Cullman at 5:30 p.m.
