Soccer Game Preview: Harding University vs. Central Cabarrus + How To Watch

The Harding University Rams will venture away from home to take on the Central Cabarrus Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harding University's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Harding University fell victim to Cox Mill and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Chargers, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Harding University can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 414th, while Cox Mill are ranked 119th).

Meanwhile, Central Cabarrus also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 5-0 to Olympic on Thursday.

Central Cabarrus' loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Harding University, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-2.

Everything went Harding University's way against Central Cabarrus when the teams last played back in September, as Harding University made off with a 4-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
