Fairfax won against Central last Friday with 69 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Fairfax Stampede blew past the Carl Hayden Community Falcons, posting a 69-20 win. The Stampede have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 35 points or more this season.

Fairfax was led to victory by Jaelynn Harvey and Mayega Enow. Harvey went 8 for 14 on her way to 23 points and four steals, while Enow went 9 of 16 en route to 18 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. Enow is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mel Romero, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards.

Despite the defeat, Carl Hayden Community saw an underclassman step up: freshman Lillielani Lockett almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. That was a full 60% of Carl Hayden Community's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.

The victory was the third in a row for Fairfax, bringing their record for this year to 8-8. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 17.0 points per game. As for Carl Hayden Community, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Fairfax didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-29 win against Youngker on the 23rd. As for Carl Hayden Community, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 44-37 victory against Metro Tech on the 23rd.
