Huron won against Willard on Wednesday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Everything went the Tigers' way against the Old Fort Stockaders as they made off with a 12-2 victory. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Huron's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Old Fort, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Huron and Old Fort could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Tigers (ranked 222nd) will meet Ashland (ranked 79th) at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Old Fort will challenge Calvert at 5:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (447 vs. 71).
