Volleyball Recap: Yazoo City Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Yazoo City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greenwood Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

The final score came out to 25-16, 23-25, 25-23, 25-8.

Yazoo City's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Greenwood, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Yazoo City will square off against Louisville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greenwood, they will challenge Humphreys County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
