Basketball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

After soaring to 62 points the game before, Central was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They took a blow against the Drew Central Pirates, falling 59-21. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Drew Central, they pushed their record up to 18-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-16 loss against McGehee on the 27th. As for Drew Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 43-33 victory against Rison on the 28th.
