Basketball Recap: Centralia Comes Up Short

Centralia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were dealt a 75-38 loss at the hands of the WF West Bearcats. The Tigers lost against the Bearcats in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 49-33 score last time.

Centralia's record now sits at 2-13. As for WF West, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Centralia Tigers challenge the Aberdeen Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for WF West, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Tumwater at 7:00 p.m.
