Basketball Recap: Appleton West Comes Up Short

Appleton West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Kimberly Papermakers, falling 65-17. The matchup marked the Terrors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Appleton West's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Kimberly, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Appleton West will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kaukauna at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Kimberly will take on Oshkosh West in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Kimberly's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
