Softball Recap: Synergy Magnet K12 Comes Up Short

Synergy Magnet K12 was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Master's Academy Patriots, falling 18-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Wednesday.

Synergy Magnet K12's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Master's Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Synergy Magnet K12 will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Port St. Lucie at 4:00 p.m. on April 7th. As for Master's Academy, they will square off against Boca Raton Christian at 3:30 p.m. on March 21st. One thing working in Master's Academy's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
