Bishop DuBourg took a 14-run loss the last time they faced off against St. Mary, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cavaliers had just enough and edged out the Dragons 5-4 on Tuesday. For the Cavaliers, this counts as revenge for the 15-1 victory the Dragons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2018.

The win got Bishop DuBourg back to even at 3-3. As for St. Mary's, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coming up, Bishop DuBourg will head out on the road to face off against St. Louis HomeSchool P at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cavaliers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. As for St. Mary's, they will host Metro at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
