Baseball Recap: El Rancho Comes Up Short

El Rancho entered their game against Santa Fe on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Dons fell 5-1 to the Chiefs. The Dons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chiefs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

El Rancho saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Aparicio, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

El Rancho's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Santa Fe, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-10 record this season.
