Hampton County put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Allendale-Fairfax Tigers with a sharp 58-33 win. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Hurricanes had established a 21-point advantage.

Lyric Jones was a one-woman wrecking crew as she went 11-for-15 to rack up 26 points. Another player making a difference was Jada Rodger, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds.

Hampton County's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Allendale-Fairfax, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Hampton County won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Colleton County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. Allendale-Fairfax will take on Edisto in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
