Broadneck has gone a perfect 10-0 against Annapolis recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bruins will look to defend their home field against the Panthers at 4:45 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Annapolis will be up against a hot Broadneck squad: the team just extended their winning streak to six. The Bruins never let Old Mill get on the board and left with an 11-0 win on Monday. The Bruins' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Rylan Crisafulli made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Broadneck let Corinn Bennett and Diana Owens run wild. Bennett went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI, while Owens went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. What's more, Owens posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Faith Palmer, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
Broadneck was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Old Mill only posted a batting average of .000.
Meanwhile, Annapolis got the win against Meade on Monday by a conclusive 22-1. That 21-run margin sets a new team best for the Panthers this season.
Juliet Hill made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Hill was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Margaret Hetherington was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Those doubles were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Chloe Champlin, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base.
Broadneck's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Annapolis, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 4-10.
Annapolis' hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Broadneck has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 14.4 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Annapolis, though, as they've been averaging only 3.8 strikeouts. Will Broadneck keep running through batters, or will the Panthers buck the trend?
Broadneck got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March against Annapolis by a conclusive 8-0 score. Will the Bruins repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
