Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Jimtown's Sixth in Last Eight Outings

It's playoff time, and Jimtown had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bremen Lions on Saturday, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Jimmies have posted against the Lions since September 14, 2023.

Among those leading the charge was Ava Armour, who had 19 digs. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

Jimtown was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in three consecutive matchups.

Jimtown has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-18 record this season. As for Bremen, the loss snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 24-9 record.

Jimtown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Lakeland on the 25th. Bremen does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
