Basketball Game Preview: Naples Big Green Machines vs. Honeoye Bulldogs

The Naples Big Green Machines will head out to face off against the Honeoye Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Friday, Naples ended up a good deal behind South Seneca and lost 58-40. The Big Green Machines haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, Honeoye waltzed into their game on Tuesday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They blew past Red Jacket 82-58. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 24 points or more this season.

Honeoye's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.2 points over those games. As for Naples, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Naples was taken down by Honeoye 89-50 when the teams last played back in January. Can Naples avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
