Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy Comes Up Short

Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy suffered their biggest loss since September 24th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Lafayette Christian Academy Knights, falling 3-0. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Knights from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15, 25-13.

Lafayette Christian Academy was led to victory by Finley Landry and Dimi Batiste. Landry had ten aces, while Batiste had nine digs and two aces. That's the most digs Batiste has posted over her last six contests.

Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy's loss dropped their record down to 16-18. As for Lafayette Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 24-11 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy will face off against Beau Chene at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lafayette Christian Academy, they will challenge St. Louis Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
