It was a good run, but Dorman unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Wade Hampton Generals who were credited with the win. The Wade Hampton Generals got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Dorman Cavaliers' one. Dorman were not able to make up for their defeat to Wade Hampton from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Dorman's loss dropped their record down to 6-3-1. As for Wade Hampton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Coming up, Dorman will square off against Eastside at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eastside will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Dorman surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wade Hampton, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Gaffney at 7:00 p.m. Wade Hampton is facing Gaffney at the right time seeing as Gaffney is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
