Basketball Recap: Lake Fenton Comes Up Short

Lake Fenton lost against Goodrich back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lake Fenton Blue Devils had to suffer through a 59-17 loss at the hands of the Goodrich Martians. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 484th, while the Martians are ranked 64th).

Lake Fenton's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Goodrich, they pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coming up, Lake Fenton will challenge Hamady at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Goodrich, they will face off against Frankenmuth at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Goodrich's defense has only allowed 26.4 points per game this season, so Frankenmuth's offense will have their work cut out for them.
