Basketball Recap: Aubree Ervans Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Hillsdale Academy

Reading won against Colon last Tuesday with 41 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. The Reading Rangers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 41-39 victory over the Hillsdale Academy Colts. The win continues a trend for the Rangers in their matchups with the Colts: they've now won seven in a row.

Reading's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aubree Ervans led the charge by shooting 50% from the field en route to 12 points. Thanks to that strong game, Ervans now owns an excellent 45.2% field goal percentage. Another player making a difference was Jenna Londeau, who posted 15 points and four steals.

Reading's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Hillsdale Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-8.
