Softball Game Preview: Franklin Quakers vs. Cleveland Eagles

Franklin is on a seven-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Cleveland a four-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Franklin Quakers will host the Cleveland Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Franklin will bounce into Monday's contest after beating Ingraham, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Franklin came out on top against Ingraham by a score of 16-12 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Cleveland didn't have quite enough to beat Rainier Beach on Thursday and fell 18-16.

Cleveland's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Franklin, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Everything went Franklin's way against Cleveland in their previous matchup last Thursday, as Franklin made off with a 26-7 victory. Will Franklin repeat their success, or does Cleveland has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
