Basketball Recap: Westwood's Loss Ends Eight-Game Winning Streak at Home

Westwood entered their match against Ridge View on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Westwood Redhawks fell just short of the Ridge View Blazers by a score of 53-50. The Redhawks just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Westwood's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 15-5. As for Ridge View, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Spring Valley the next time they take the court. Ridge View will host Spring Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Westwood will host them at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th.
